Frequently Asked Questions:

30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner

  • Q: Will it work in my swimming pool.
  • A: Yes, if you drain the pool water and spray on to badly affected surface. Sometimes conventional pool chemicals can not get rid of badly affected swimming pool surfaces, especially those with porous surface such as marble or concrete pools. Spray on, give it a good scrub with hard broom, wash of, and drain dirty water again.
  • Q: Can I clean my fish or Koi pond with 30 Seconds, and will it harm my fish?
  • A: Yes, but drain the pond or tank water, spray whole area, give it a light rub if necessary, rinse, remove the dirty residue and water, leave to dry.( 30 Seconds returns to a neutral state ones it dries and cannot be reactivated by water) Refill with clean water as you would normally do with a new pond or tank.
  • Q: Can I use it in my bathroom?
  • A: Yes, ceilings walls tiles, grout. It works excellent and fast, and normally not necessary for any scrubbing as these are non porous surfaces. Although we do not market 30 Seconds Outdoor cleaner as a disinfectant, we do know that it has this attribute, especially on gym shower floors, where you have a lot of traffic from different people and helps to combat foot diseases spreading. Just rinse and wipe down residue afterwards with damp cloth.
  • Q:Will it harm my plants if I spray my patios and walkways?
  • A: No it will not harm your plants if used as directed on the label. Just be sure to rinse your plants of within 10 minutes of spraying 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner.
  • Q:How long does it take to work?
  • A: The name says it all. 30 Seconds goes to work immediately, killing the spores of algae, mildew & moss. The actual cleaning affect will differ from non porous surfaces to porous surfaces. Non porous surfaces such as painted walls, tiles, etc, you will see the affect within 30 Seconds. On porous surface such as concrete, roof tiles, paving and wooden decks, you have to keep the surface wet with 30 Seconds for at least 10 minutes, as these absorb the cleaner and dries very quickly. When doing porous surfaces, it is recommended to do it earlier in the day, when temperatures are cooler, and or on cooler days. This combats evaporation and less cleaner is used.
